Kabir Bedi’s pain over the death of his/her son again after 27 years, said – after all I could not win this battle

Kabir Bedi’s son Siddharth had committed suicide in 1997, the grief of which still haunts him/her from within. After 27 years, his/her heart has once again come out in the grief of his/her son’s death and told how this incident ruined him/her emotionally. Talking about the mental health of his/her son Siddharth, Kabir Bedi said that due to the serious mental health of the child, Coping is one of the most challenging experiences for parents.

‘The tragedy of my son Siddharth was that he/she was a very brilliant boy.’

Kabir Bedi recently once again spoke about the demise of his/her son Siddharth, who was suffering from schizophrenia. In an interview with ‘Digital Commentary’ he/she said, ‘The tragedy of my son Siddharth was that he/she was a very brilliant boy. he/she got enrolled in America’s most important information technology college and then he/she was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

‘Try to imagine what might have happened to me’

he/she narrated a chapter from his/her autograph and talked openly about his/her struggle as a father. he/she said, ‘I have written this chapter in my book about the last months of Siddharth. There is a story of how a father is stopping his/her son from committing suicide. Now try to think what might have happened to me.

‘In the end I could not win this battle’

he/she further said, ‘In the end I could not win this battle and this is probably the biggest tragedy of my life.’

‘Tried to save my son, but I couldn’t’

While talking in ‘Stories I Must Tell’, Kabir Bedi has already talked about everything from losing his/her son to failures and bankruptcy etc. She said she also faced financial problems when her son was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Bedi had also said, ‘he/she tried to save his/her son, but I could not and I felt guilty.’
