‘Just trying to grab media attention’, BJP’s sharp attack on Rahul Gandhi’s Sambhal tour, know what was said

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi targeted the Congress while addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. he/she blamed Congress for the disintegration of the Indi alliance in the winter session of Parliament. Trivedi described Rahul Gandhi’s Sambhal tour as just a show and said that Congress is doing this due to its political compulsions. Citing the statement of SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav, he/she said that Congress is not acting as a formality but out of compulsion.

Two notices did not come on the same issue

he/she said that 42 notices had come in Rajya Sabha under Rule 267 on 9 different issues. The special thing is that no two parties of the Indi alliance gave notice on the same issue. This clearly shows that the agenda of Congress is not acceptable to other parties. Every party is following its own path. Rahul Gandhi is trying to control himself under compulsion due to lack of support from his/her colleagues in the House. It’s just a show.

‘Congress is playing a formality’

Sudhanshu Trivedi also mentioned the statement of SP leader Professor Ram Gopal Yadav and said that Ram Gopal Yadav had said that Congress is fulfilling the formality. On this, Sudhanshu Trivedi said that Congress is not acting out of formality but out of compulsion. No Congress leader said or wrote anything on this issue. It seems that Rahul Gandhi was seen trying to go to Sambhal just to attract media attention.

Sudhanshu Trivedi further said that when SP changed its issue, Congress was also forced to follow the same path. Perhaps Congress might have felt that SP had taken more advantage of them. Congress must have felt that we are a big party, if we do something which will get good pictures, then the media’s attention will go towards us. Therefore, it seems that there is a competition between the two parties for their vote bank. There does not seem to be any sympathy or sympathy from the Congress side in this.
