Junior NTR’s film has started bleating in just 13 days, ‘Devra’ bags packed as soon as ‘Vettaiyan’ arrives!

The condition of Telugu action drama ‘Devra: Part 1’ is bad. Within 13 days this film has started bleating at the box office. Whereas in its first weekend everyone became stunned before its roar of Rs 160 crores. However, even amidst the continuously decreasing earnings, it seemed that somehow it will earn equal to its budget of Rs 300 crore. But now the situation is such that it would be a blessing if it reaches even Rs 275 crores. After the bumper success of RRR, Junior NTR has faced this big failure. ‘Devra’, directed by Koratala Siva, has started packing its bags at the Indian box office. Preparations for its OTT release have also started. Junior NTR was expected to make a strong comeback on the big screen after RRR. But unfortunately, that did not happen. However, while on one hand the action sequences, VFX and acting performance of ‘Devra’ has been praised, on the other hand it has flopped in terms of story.

‘Vettaiyan’, ‘Vicky Vidya’s video’ and ‘Jigra’

While ‘Devra’ has already not received much response from the audience, now on the occasion of Dussehra 2024, it is going to take a hit in both South and North India. Rajinikanth-Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Vettaiyan’ has been released on Thursday, due to which the screens of ‘Devra’ have reduced drastically in the South. Similarly, Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ and Rajkumar Rao’s ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Video’ are being released on Friday. Hence, the troubled ‘Devra’ in Hindi too will have to suffer losses.

‘Devra’ Worldwide Collection Day 13

Even in terms of worldwide collection, this film of Junior NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Prakash Raj has lagged behind. In 13 days, it has made a gross collection of Rs 379.50 crore at the global box office. Out of this, only Rs 75.30 crore has been grossed abroad.
