JP Nadda launched the National Medical Register Portal, the Union Minister told what is special in it

New Delhi: Union Health Minister JP Nadda launched the National Medical Register Portal of the National Medical Commission. Union Ministers of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel and Prataprao Jadhav were also present on this occasion. This medical register will be a comprehensive and dynamic database of all allopathic (MBBS) registered doctors in India. Union Minister JP Nadda said on this occasion that the National Health Register is a very important step. It will strengthen the digital healthcare system.

JP Nadda further said that we are moving towards launching a similar register for paramedics and other healthcare professionals as well. On this occasion, Anupriya Patel said that we are planning to create a huge digital health ecosystem and creating a digital registry of doctors is an important pillar of this ecosystem.

Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav said the government is working with the vision of ‘Reform, Perform and Transform’. The launch of NMR is a step towards fulfilling the government’s commitment to provide quality healthcare to the people. The National Medical Register will be a comprehensive database for all allopathic (MBBS) registered doctors in India. The National Health Register is a much-awaited step that will strengthen the digital healthcare ecosystem.
