John’s ‘The Diplomat’ hopes on opening day, doubling from Holi and Ramadan, colored colors

Releasing the film on the day of festivals like Holi and Diwali is a bigger rising in terms of earnings. This is because people are busy in their homes on both these festivals. However, Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ was released on the day of Diwali and earned Rs 44.50 crore on Opening Day. Now on Friday, March 14, 2025, John Abraham’s ‘The Diplomat’ was released on Holi. It is interesting that on the first day the film has almost doubled with hope. The on-round discussion was low before the release of ‘The Diplomat’, made in the direction of Shivam Nair. Holi festival on it. In such a situation, it was estimated that this film would earn Rs 2-2.50 crore on the first day. The budget of the film is said to be 20 crores.

Surely backward from ‘Veda’, ‘The diplomat’ in a strong situation

John Abraham’s previous release was Nikhil Advani’s ‘Veda’. The film was released on August 15, 2024 and earned Rs 6.30 crore on Opening Day. Comparatively ‘The Diplomat’ is about 40% less earning. But keeping Holi in mind, it is looking stronger than ‘Veda’.

John Abraham is once again in patriotic genre

John Abraham has made his/her mark among the audience on the basis of patriotism in the last few years. From ‘Madras Cafe’ to ‘Satyamev Jayate’ and ‘Batla House’, such desires have been successful at the box office. John Abraham has played a similar role in ‘The Diplomat’. he/she plays the role of Indian diplomat JP Singh. The rest of the film’s actors are Sharib Hashmi, Sadia Khatib, Kumud Mishra and Revathi.

‘The diplomat’ is resting on the word-off-mouthe

The action-drama ‘The Diplomat’ is all dependent on the Word-of-Mouth, as its discussion has been negligible before the release. While Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’ at the box office is in a strong position even after a month old. On Friday too, ‘Chhava’ has earned Rs 7.25 crore, out of which a business of Rs 6.50 crore has been done from the Hindi version.

By the way, if you look at the career graph of John Abraham, he/she has made a great way. John, who came out of modeling films, started his/her career in 2003 with ‘Jism’ with Bipasha Basu. At that time, this film, made in a budget of 3 crores, earned a lifetime of 7.97 crores at the box office and proved to be a hit. ‘Jism’ earned 60 lakh rupees at the box office on the first day. Now, after 22 years and about 50 films, his/her ‘The Diplomat’ has done more than 6 times the business compared to ‘Jism’.
