JKSSB Constable Vacancy 2024: Notification issued for constable recruitment for more than 4000 posts in Jammu and Kashmir

J&K Constable Recruitment 2024: Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced recruitment of constables for more than 4 thousand posts. The board has also released its official notification on its official website jkssb.nic.in. JKP Constable Recruitment 2024 Notification: Vacancy Details

In this constable recruitment, candidates can fill the form till the last date 29 August. Government Job To apply, candidates must be local residents of Jammu and Kashmir. The board can also change the number of vacancies without any notice.

Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility

Physical eligibility has also been prescribed for the candidates to apply in this constable recruitment.

• Male- 5′-6″ Height, Chest- 32″, Chest Expansion 33 1/2″
• Female – 5′-2″

• Race- Men must complete the 1600 meter race in 6 1/2 minutes and do 20 pushups. Women must complete the 1000 meter race in 6 1/2 minutes and do short putts.
• Age Limit- Candidates age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 1st January 2024.
• Application fee- Candidates will have to submit an application fee of Rs 700. Whereas for SC, ST and EWS category it has been fixed at Rs 600.
• Selection- In this constable recruitment, candidates will be selected through written examination, PST, PET and document verification.

JK Constable 2024: Written Exam

In the constable exam, candidates will be asked multiple choice questions. There will also be negative marking in it. In this exam, questions related to general knowledge, reasoning, mental ability and maths will be asked.
