It is said that Neem Karoli Baba came here for the first time in 1961. he/she liked this place so much that he/she decided to establish an ashram here and got Kainchi Dham Ashram established here in 1964.

Not only this, you can also go directly to Kainchi Dham or you can also visit Nainital and come to Kainchi Dham. The journey from Nainital to here takes one hour.
Not only this, you can also take a bus from Haldwani in Uttarakhand. From here you can go to Kainchi Dham by bus or sharing taxi. You can reach Kainchi Dham by sharing 200 rupees and taking a taxi for around 600 to 700 rupees. You will find many hotels nearby.
