Joint Entrance Examination Main 2025: If you are preparing for JEE Main 2025, then while applying for this exam, many questions related to it may arise in your mind. Understanding your problem, National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has released important information in this regard on its official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The online application process for JEE Main 2025 (Session 1) is ongoing and will close on November 22, 2024. 1. How to register for JEE (Main)?
Answer: You will get complete information about how to register on the NTA website. See the information bulletin under “Important Notices” on the website.

2. In which languages ​​will the examination be held?
Answer: The examination will be in English, Hindi and regional languages ​​like Assamese, Tamil, Telugu. The complete list of these languages ​​is given in the NEP.

3. How are the examination cities selected?
Answer: You can choose four cities based on your permanent and current address. Foreign candidates can choose centers within or near India. The final decision will be taken by NTA.

4. Do candidates need to send documents to NTA?
Answer: No. Candidates should not send any document by post, email or in person.

5. Is identification through Aadhaar card necessary?
Answer: No, it is not necessary, but you should update your Aadhaar card information for identification at the examination centre.

6. What documents will PWBD/PWD candidates require?
Answer: They have to follow the RPWD Act, 2016 and other rules of the government. For more details see NTA notifications.

7. If a candidate is unable to appear for Session 1, can he/she/she apply for Session 2?
Answer: Yes, they will be able to apply when the portal opens for session 2.

8. How to get author feature?
Answer: Read Chapter 4 of the Information Bulletin and fill the form as per Appendix IV and VI. Information like roll number and center name has to be filled at the examination center itself.

9. Will caste certificate have to be shown during registration?
Answer: No, you do not need to upload the certificate. Simply provide your certificate number, date of issue and authority details. You will have to show the certificate during document verification.

10. When will the exam be held?
Answer: Session 1: January 22-31, 2025. Session 2: April 1-8, 2025.

11. What if a candidate does not receive the admit card?
Answer: You can download your admit card from NTA website. If you are facing any problem, you can call the helpline number or email.

12. Can NTA give exam centers on its own?
Answer: No.

13. What if the exam date clashes with another exam?
Answer: NTA will not change the exam date if the exam date clashes with any other exam.

14. Can candidates choose the date or time of the exam?
Answer: No, the date and time will be given randomly by the computer.

15. Can the signature be used in blue instead of black?
Answer: Yes, it is acceptable.

16. Can the information given in the application form be changed later?
Answer: You will be given one chance to change some selected information.

17. Can the application be canceled?
Answer: No, the application once submitted cannot be canceled or withdrawn.

18. Can the examination center be changed after being allotted?

Answer: No, they have to provide their own caste certificate.

Answer: You will get this information in paragraph 2.4 of the information bulletin.

23. Are marks deducted for wrong answers?
Answer: Yes, marks will be deducted for wrong answers to both multiple choice and numerical value questions.

24. B.Arch and B. What is the exam duration for planning?
Answer: The duration of the exam is 3 hours 30 minutes.

25. Where will I get information about exam shifts and timings?
Answer: You will find this information in the ‘Important Information’ section of the information bulletin.

26. How many subjects are it mandatory to choose in class 12th?
Answer: It is mandatory to select five subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

27. Which option should the candidates appearing for re-examination choose?
Answer: Select ‘Pass’.

33. What happens if fee payment fails?
Answer: Try making the payment again and download the confirmation page. The process of getting money back for failed transactions will start after the declaration of the result.

34. Are service charges included in the application fee?
Answer: No, service charges will have to be paid separately.

35. How to make payment for application fees?
Answer: You can make the payment using Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking through SBI, Canara, HDFC, or ICICI gateway.
