JEE Advanced Exam Guideline: You will not be able to give IIT JEE exam wearing these things, IIT issued guidelines

JEE Advanced Exam Day Guidelines: JEE Advanced 2024 exam for IIT Admission 2024 is being conducted on Sunday, 26 May. This year IIT Madras is conducting IIT JEE examination. JEE Advanced Admit Card 2024 has already been released on jeeadv.ac.in. Now the necessary guidelines for the exam day have also arrived. Please read it carefully once. Otherwise, your years of hard work can go waste due to a small mistake or carelessness. Here are the detailed JEE Advanced exam guidelines.

JEE Advanced Exam Instructions: What to bring to the exam center and what not to bring

  • Hard copy of JEE Advanced Admit Card 2024 downloaded from the official website jeeadv.ac.in, One original photo ID proof, such as Aadhar Card, School/College/Institute ID Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card Or notarized certificate with photograph.
  • Apart from this, only pens, pencils, drinking water in transparent bottles are allowed inside the examination hall.
  • You cannot carry watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands or any other electronic gadgets.
  • Any kind of paper (other than hall ticket), log table, writing pad, scale, eraser, geometry/pencil box, pouch, calculator, pen drive, electronic pen/scanner, wallet, handbag, camera, spectacles or the like Cheese is banned inside the center.

JEE Advanced Dress Code: What to wear and what not to wear

  • Amulets/Ganda, metal items like rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches and clothes with big buttons… none of these can be worn in the examination.
  • It is advised that candidates should wear open shoes like slippers and sandals to the centre.

JEE Advanced Exam Time: JEE Advanced Reporting Time

The gates of JEE Advanced exam center will be opened at 7 am. JEE Advanced Paper 1 exam will start from 9 am and Paper 2 exam will start from 2:30 pm. The gates will be closed at this time. After that, entry will not be allowed under any circumstances. At the same time, you cannot leave the examination hall before 12 noon for Paper 1 and 5:30 pm for Paper 2.

Apart from invigilators, representatives of IIT will verify the identity of the candidate at the examination centre. If he/she has any doubt, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination. However, IIT officials, at their discretion, may allow a candidate to appear for the examination provisionally after completing certain formalities. But the extra time required for this process will not be given in the exam.
