Jaya Bachchan appealed to the government to merge the film industry in Parliament, made serious allegations

Actress and MP Jaya Bachchan has often spoken in the House about the film industry. Once again he/she has spoken in its favor. On February 11, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has requested to bring a proposal to help the industry show some mercy and help him/her alive. he/she has openly talked about the Union Budget 2025-26 in the Rajya Sabha. Is. And single screen theaters are closing because people are not going to the movie hall. Everything has become so expensive. he/she said, ‘You have completely ignored an industry. And other governments were doing the same.

Jaya Bachchan further said, ‘But today you have taken it to a separate level. You have completely ignored the film and entertainment industry because they use them only to fulfill their purpose. Except for GST today, all single screens are closing. People are not going theaters because everything has become expensive. Perhaps you want to completely eliminate this industry. This is the only industry that connects the whole world to India.

Jaya Bachchan’s appeal to Finance Minister

he/she has appealed to show some ‘mercy’ for the country’s audio-visual industry and alleged that cinema is being targeted. She said, ‘I am speaking on behalf of my film industry and I am requesting this House to spare him/her on behalf of the audia-visual industry. Please have a little pity. You are trying to finish it. Do not do this I request the Finance Minister to consider this and do something to help keep this industry alive.
