Javed Jaffrey Exclusive: I tell my children, you will know only when you become a father.

Javed Jaffrey, who has spent almost 40 years in the entertainment world, is known as an all-round artist as a dancer, host, VJ and actor. Javed, who has worked in many TV shows, films and web series, has become a magician in Magic of Sheree. Special conversation with Javed Jaffrey, who has reached the level of Venus after four decades. When you look back after spending almost a decade in the industry, do you think an all-rounder like you deserved more?
-I have now reached the level of Venus. he/she is a lion, isn’t he/she? Live your life according to your needs, not according to your desires, because the needs of even the beggars are fulfilled and the desires of even the king remain unfulfilled. You and many fans like you say that I have great talent in every kind of dance, hosting, acting, so this is the love of my fans. I am happy in it. All these years I have understood that appreciate what you have, be thankful. Thank God we got a lot. People appreciated and loved. But many times I think that if I had taken some different decisions in my career, the direction of my career would have been different. At that time my biggest specialty was dance and in our films it is the hero who dances, not the villain. At that time, if Subhash Ghai Saheb made me dance by making me a villain in his/her fight, then it was a new idea for that time. People gave me adjectives like charming, good looking, cool and an excellent dancer, but then such different films were not made and I remained limited to villainous roles. Today sometimes I wish I had decided to establish myself as a hero and market myself that way. But then it seems that either there was something lacking in you or it was not for you.

You had many differences with your father Jagdeep (a well-known comedian), but today after his/her departure, what do you think, what did you learn from him/her?
-To be honest, I had no differences with him/her. Yes, I had some complaints against him/her, which remained for some time and then I also slowly started understanding them. Many times when you are young, you are not able to understand some aspects of life, but later you understand. I learned a lot about life from him/her. Got to know a lot from him/her as an actor too. I became better as a person. Both his/her good and bad influences had an impact on me. The kind of life he/she traveled to reach here was not easy. I and my children are able to enjoy the fruits of the struggle and struggle through which they reached here. If he/she had not struggled so much, we would have

What kind of father do you consider yourself? You yourself are the father of actor son Meezaan (Meezaan Jaffrey) and daughter Alavia?
– Our father used to tell us that you will know when you become a father. We also tell this to our children (laughs). This will continue. As a father, I do not consider myself perfect. I too have my strengths and weaknesses, but I try to give my best as a father. Every parent wants to give only the best for their children. Some are successful, some are not. Everyone has their own journey, mine too. Everyone has to answer to their parents, themselves and their children. I also have to give. I try to do better.

In your new series you have become a magician, so if you were a magician in real life, what would you like to change in your life and society?
-I think our mistakes make us who we are today. Many times when we look back, we feel that we should not have done a certain thing. Many times, there are some mistakes at personal level in your life, which you do not want to reveal, but want to change. I also sometimes think that I wish I had not done this or had done this. Like many times we think about relationships. But today I am at that stage where I want to be thankful for everything. As far as the society is concerned, I think hatred should go away from the society. Ammunition and weapons are just a means, in reality it is hatred that is killing the world. Today man has become very selfish. Today he/she has misused this planet a lot for his/her selfishness. he/she has ruined the planet a lot. I would like to beautify this planet.

Your new series is kind of based on the concept of a fairy tale on how the impossible can be made possible. Do you believe in fairy tales?
-Of course, I feel like doing it, because these stories give us hope. Like Cinderella’s story of how one shoe changed her life. How the story of Beauty and the Beast turns bad into good. These stories tell us that magic can happen in your life. These stories give us comfort on the surface of harshness and we want to believe in magic in despair, but as we grow up, our positivity decreases after the bitter truths, but we always believe in these stories. Want to do. This series of ours also shows the same thing that for a girl who has settled down at home, life brings her to such a point when she has to come forward to fulfill her childhood dream. My character of magician Salim plays a very important role in that setup of the story. My character helps in fulfilling the dreams of that housewife.
