PSSSB Punjab Police Recruitment 2024: A big good news has come for the candidates dreaming of joining the police. Recently, Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has released recruitment for the posts of Jail Warder and Jail Matron. For this recruitment, an official notification has also been issued on the official website of PSSSB sssb.punjab.gov.in. Jail Warder Recruitment 2024 Online Application: Eligibility

• Age Range- Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 27 years. There is a provision of relaxation for reserved category candidates.
• Length- Physical eligibility has also been determined for this police recruitment. Height is 5 feet 7 inches for men and 5 feet 3 inches for women. Men’s chest should be 33 inches and 5 cm wide.
• Physical Test- In physical, the candidates will have to go through stages like 100 meter race, short put and rope climb.
• Selection Process-Written Exam, Physical Test, Document Verification and Medical Test.
• Application fee- General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000. On the other hand, SC/BC/EWS category candidates will have to submit an application fee of Rs 250. For ex-servicemen and dependents, this fee is Rs 200.
