Jadeja took 9 wickets against New Zealand, will complete 10 wickets in Mumbai Test


New Delhi. The Indian team is close to victory in the Mumbai Test against New Zealand. Team India will have to bat very poorly to lose the match from where it was on the second day. India is hopeful of victory after two consecutive defeats against New Zealand. Team India got this hope because of spinner Ravindra Jadeja. he/she has taken 9 wickets so far in this match and can achieve a special achievement by taking the 10th wicket.

The last match of the three-match Test series between India and New Zealand may end on the third day itself. After winning the toss, New Zealand chose to bat first in the match. On the first day, India bowled out the visiting team for 235 runs on the basis of excellent bowling. After this, after scoring 263 runs, they took a lead of 28 runs. In the first innings, Shubman Gill scored 90 runs for India while Rishabh Pant played an inning of 60 runs. In the second innings, India almost took the match by giving 9 wickets for 171 runs to the New Zealand team. The Kiwi team has a lead of 143 runs against India.

Jadeja did wonders
Ravindra Jadeja almost ensured the team’s victory by bowling brilliantly in the Mumbai Test. In the first innings, Jadeja took 5 wickets for 65 runs against New Zealand. In the second innings too, Jadeja thrashed the Kiwi batsmen. he/she has taken 4 wickets for 52 runs in this innings. So far, Jadeja has taken a total of 9 wickets in this match. Just 1 step away from getting 10 wickets.
Jadeja close to taking 10 wickets
Jadeja has done the feat of taking 10 wickets in a Test match only twice in his/her career so far. If they get one more wicket against New Zealand then they will do this feat for the third time. For the first time in 2016, Jadeja took 10 wickets in a Test match against England in Chennai. In 2023, he/she took 10 wickets for the second time in the Delhi Test with Australia.
