New York. The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma is fully prepared for the T20 World Cup. India has to play the opening matches of the T20 World Cup at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. Captain Rohit Sharma said that his/her team will have to adapt to the pitch and conditions before the match against Ireland on June 5. Rohit and his/her team have to play a practice match against Bangladesh on the same ground on Saturday. This is India’s only practice match before the T20 World Cup.

The practice matches are also important for the Indian team because these matches will start at 10.30 am local time. After playing day-night matches in the IPL, now the Indian players will have to get used to day matches. Rohit Sharma told the ICC, ‘We are trying to understand the situation because we have not played here before.’
