It was a disaster in the first weekend itself! Others did not have the strength to do as well as Qayamat which came 21 years ago, Uljhal flopped

Both the new films released on Friday are doing badly at the box office. While Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Uljh’ has been a flop in the first weekend, Ajay Devgan and Tabu’s ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ is in a bad shape. In fact, this is the worst opening weekend for Ajay Devgan in the last 15 years. his/her new film has done the same business as the 20-year-old ‘Qayamat’ and ‘Abduction’. According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, directed by Neeraj Pandey, has collected a net of only Rs 6.75 crore in the first weekend. In the first three days, this film has run very flat at the box office. It earned only Rs 1.85 crore on the opening day. On the second day, Saturday, the earnings were Rs 2.15 crore. While on the third day, Sunday, it has done a business of only Rs 2.75 crore.

The situation is like ‘doomsday’ and ‘kidnapping’

Ajay Devgan’s 2003 release ‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’ did a business of Rs 5.34 crore in the opening weekend. While ‘Abduction’ released in 2005 did a business of Rs 5.20 crore in the first three days. ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ now seems to be a film in the same league. The way the situation is at the box office, its earnings are going to reach millions from Monday. However, due to lack of options in theatres, this film will keep earning something or the other, albeit slowly, till 15th August, while after the release of ‘Stree 2’, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ on the occasion of Independence Day, it will be wiped out.

The condition of Jhanvi’s ‘entanglement’ is getting worse

On one hand, despite Ajay Devgan’s star power, ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ has flopped at the box office, while Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah’s ‘Uljh’ has also proved to be a flop in the first weekend itself. The situation in theatres is even worse for ‘Uljh’. In three days, this film has made a net collection of only Rs 4.90 crore.

Despite the holiday, the audience is still craving for ‘Uljh’

The condition of ‘Uljh’, directed by Sudhanshu Saria, is such that despite Sunday being a holiday, its average audience occupancy has been around 23%. This film earned Rs 1.15 crore on its opening day on Friday. On Saturday, its earnings increased slightly to Rs 1.75 crore. Whereas on Sunday it could earn only Rs 2 crore.
