IT raids the house and office of ‘Pushpa 2’ director Sukumar, officers taken away from the airport

After the Income Tax raid at the house of ‘Game Changer’ producer Dil Raju, now ‘Pushpa 2’ director Sukumar has come under target. The Income Tax Department raided Sukumar’s house and office on Wednesday, January 22. Sukumar had no idea about this and was surprised. It is being told that when the IT department raided Sukumar’s house, Sukumar was at the Hyderabad airport. According to the report of ‘Sakshi Post’, the IT officials took Sukumar to his/her home from the airport itself. The director’s house and office were searched for several hours, but it is not yet known for what purpose the raid was conducted. No official statement has been issued by the Income Tax Department yet in this matter.

Raid by 55 IT teams, searching for the locations of producers of ‘Pushpa 2’

Earlier, about 55 teams of Income Tax Department conducted sudden raids at more than eight places in Hyderabad. The raid, which started on the morning of January 21, continued till late evening. The offices and properties of ‘Pushpa 2’ producers Naveen Yerneni and Maithri Movie Makers founder Ravi Shankar Yelamanchili were also raided.

Earlier, the house of Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Game Changer’ producer Dil Raju, his/her daughter and 8 relatives was raided. This raid was conducted by Telangana Income Tax Department on charges of tax evasion. The IT department raided Dil Raju’s house in the morning and also investigated his/her other locations.
