Israel Jail Service is ready for the release of terrorists for Israeli hostages today




The Israeli Jail Service (IPS) said that it has been prepared operationally for the process of releasing terrorists imprisoned in exchange for the release of Israeli in Gaza as per the guidelines of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. Kobi Yakobi, Chief Commissioner of Israel Jail, assessed another position for the operation.

(Three more hostages are expected to be released on Thursday, making the total number released since the start of the ceasefire to ten.)

The IPS received a list of security prisoners, which is expected to be released from various jails as part of the mortgage release deal.

At the end of the required preparation, the fighter of the IPS ‘Nachshon unit – the main escort unit of the jail service – will transfer terrorists to the main reception points from where they will be released.

The IPS said, “After receiving the authority from political authorities,” Terrorists will be taken from jail to the release point in Judea/Samaria by Red Cross, and special units, by the fighters of Nachshon and Masada. IPS, to cross Kerem Shalom in Gaza. ,
