New Delhi : Is the war going on between Israel and Lebanon or between Israel and Hezbollah? Responding to this, Lebanese Ambassador Rabie Narsh said that the Israeli army has the support of America. That’s why our people (Hezbollah) are resisting. Rabie said that Hezbollah was formally formed only in 1985, it was formed in reaction against Israeli aggression. Our people are themselves protecting themselves from the atrocities being committed on them. he/she said that Hezbollah is included in the government and is a political party like any other political party. It operates within the established rules of the Lebanese political system.

Lebanese Ambassador to India Rabie Narsh said on the Israel-Lebanon conflict that there has never been peace since Israel was formed. In fact, UNIFIL is continuously saying that Israeli soldiers are targeting their post and violating UN Resolution 1701. Under UNIFIL, more than 10 thousand soldiers of the armies of 50 countries of the world including India are deployed on the Israel-Lebanon border. India also has about 900 soldiers in it.

Rabi Narsh said that UN Resolution 1701 was passed in 2006. An area was created where all armed groups had to withdraw and it was violated by Israel.
