Ishan Kishan’s replacement announced, this wicketkeeper’s luck has changed

New Delhi. Wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan is out of the first round of Duleep Trophy. BCCI has informed that Ishan has a groin injury. The board informed that Ishan suffered this injury during the Buchi Babu tournament. The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the inclusion of Sanju Samson in the India D team in place of Ishan late on Wednesday night. Duleep Trophy will be held from September 5. Four teams are participating in it in which stars like Shubh Gill, Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dubey, Kuldeep Yadav and Mayank Agarwal are playing.

The BCCI medical team is closely monitoring Ishan Kishan’s condition and is working towards his/her speedy recovery. Suryakumar Yadav suffered a hand injury while playing for Mumbai in the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament against TNCA XI in Coimbatore. Team India’s T20 team captain Suryakumar was to play in the India C vs India D match to be held in Anantapur from 5 to 8 September, but now he/she has reported to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for further assessment.

Meanwhile, fast bowler Prasidh Krishna is recovering from a surgery he/she underwent in February this year. Although he/she was signed by eventual champions Mysore Warriors, he/she did not take part in the recently concluded KSCA Maharaja Trophy T20 tournament. India A team captain Shubman Gill said on the eve of the match, ‘Prasidh Krishna is not ready for this match.’ In the first match of the tournament, India A will take on India B at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
