Actress Isha Koppikar, who became famous as ‘Khallas Girl’, is in the headlines for one of her interviews, in which she has poured out the pain of casting couch. Isha told that she faced a very scary casting couch at the age of 18. The actress also cried while telling her story. When this happened to Isha Koppikar, she was starting her career in films. Isha Koppikar made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Fiza’ and before that she had worked in many South films. Isha Koppikar, who worked in films like ‘Darna Mana Hai’, ‘Pinjar’, ‘LOC Kargil’ and ‘Krishna Cottage’, also did many item songs in her career, which include names like ‘Khallas’ and ‘Ishq Samandar’.

‘Many heroines left the industry, I did not give up’

Isha Koppikar shared her hair-raising experience of casting couch in a conversation with Siddharth Kannan. She revealed that a big actor had asked her to meet him/her alone. Isha also told that many times the secretaries of actors and directors used to touch her inappropriately. She said, ‘There was no talk about what you can do. It was the heroes and actors who decided. You must have heard about MeToo. If you have values, then it is difficult for you. In my time, many actresses left the industry. Either the girls gave up or they gave up. There are very few people who are still in the industry and they have not given up and I am one of them.’

‘You have to be friends with the actors’

Isha Koppikar further said, ‘I was 18 years old when a secretary and an actor approached me for casting couch. They told me that to get work, you have to be ‘friendly’ with the actors. I am very friendly, but what does ‘friendly’ mean? I am so friendly that Ekta Kapoor once told me to have a little attitude.’

Isha Koppikar then revealed about a big actor that an A-lister actor had asked her to meet him/her alone, the actress said, ‘When I was 23 years old, an actor asked me to meet him/her alone, without my driver or anyone else. There were rumors that he/she had affairs with other heroines. he/she told me that there are already controversies about me and the staff spreads rumors. But I refused and told him/her that I cannot come alone. he/she was a big star of the Hindi film industry.’
