Is this nectar era or poison period? Rupee on ventilator .. Mallikarjun Kharge narrated fiercely to Modi government

New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday launched a scathing attack on the government in the Rajya Sabha and questioned whether it is the nectar period or poison? The Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha alleged that the government talks about ‘development’ but it is only developing a few industrialists, rich and some of his/her friends. he/she said that farmers and unemployed are being forced to commit suicide due to the policies of the government. he/she said that in the last 10 years, more than one lakh farmers have committed suicide across the country. Kharge, referring to the problems of different classes, questioned whether it is nectar era or poison period?

Objection to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement

he/she said that the government is selling public sector undertakings and is handing it over to only one person. he/she alleged that advertisements are prepared in such a way that the same person gets all the work. Kharge also objected to a statement by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and said that the RSS chief had talked about getting independence for the country after the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Later, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, while retaliating various claims of Kharge, described him/her as false and said that Kharge has cited NCRB (National Crime Record Bureau) data in his/her address but 57 in his/her party’s 10 -year tenure. Percent more farmers committed suicide.

Amit Shah also targeted

Referring to Bhagwat’s statement, Goyal said that the RSS chief had talked about cultural freedom to the country. Kharge was participating in the discussion in the Upper House on the President’s address. he/she accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of insulting Babasaheb Ambedkar and demanded him/her to resign. Kharge alleged that the Home Minister insulted Babasaheb in this House and should apologize for this and resign from his/her post.

Savarkar also mentioned

he/she said that BJP often accuses the Congress of insulting Ambedkar, but in reality only BJP and RSS have been insulting Baba Saheb. he/she cited a letter written by Ambedkar, saying, “Baba Saheb wrote a letter to a friend in 1952 in which he/she said that Dange and Savarkar had really conspired to defeat him/her in the election.”

‘Government is telling failure success’

he/she said that there is nothing new in the President’s address and an attempt has been made to draw a line on the water. he/she said that the government is also describing its failure as success. he/she said that the promises made by the government to come out hollow. In this sequence, he/she mentioned 10 promises of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called him/her a jumla. he/she said that Prime Minister Modi said that Prime Minister Modi brought black money from abroad, to get Rs 15 lakh, give jobs to two crore people every year, clean the Ganges river, doubled farmers by 2022, 50 days after demonetisation After that things were promised to be normal. But they proved to be just jumlas.

Rupee ventilator in Modi government- Kharge

Kharge said that when Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister, BJP leaders repeatedly insulted him/her. But Manmohan Singh worked for the country with silence. The Congress President said that at that time Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat and he/she had lashed out at the falling price of the rupee that the rupee is in the hospital. Kharge said that the price of the rupee was 60 rupees per dollar at that time and the rupee is on the ventilator in the Modi government as its price has come down to 87 rupees. he/she said that during Manmohan Singh’s tenure, the GDP growth rate was 7.8 percent, which has fallen to only 5.8 percent.

he/she alleged that the current government is opposed to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes and Manuwadi. he/she said that there are 35-40 lakh vacancies in the government sector and due to this a large number of children of the underprivileged class are not getting jobs. Kharge claimed that crime against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the country is increasing and Dalits are not getting their rights.

he/she demanded that the minimum support price (MSP) be given to the farmers and increased subsidy and said that the government should focus on fulfilling the promises made to the farmers. The Congress leader also mentioned the Manipur violence and questioned why Prime Minister Modi did not travel there. he/she said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi can go there but the Prime Minister is not going there. he/she alleged that the government does not want to erase a quarrel there.

Kharge agitated on Neeraj Shekhar

Kharge said that he/she did not reveal this figure to convict anyone. While Kharge was giving his/her speech, BJP member Neeraj Shekhar made any comment. This angered the Congress president and asked Shekhar to sit in a sharp tone. On this, amidst the uproar of members of the ruling party, Kharge said that Shekhar’s father and former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar was his/her friend.

Amid the uproar in the House, Chairman Dhankhar said that former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar was one of the biggest leaders of the country and demanded Kharge to withdraw his/her comment. On this, Kharge said that I do not want to insult anyone, I have worked with Chandrashekhar ji.
