Let us also tell you here that this special and new building is being built at a distance of about 12 km from Cuddapah city of Andhra Pradesh.

It is noteworthy that this building which is being constructed by the Aviation Authority of India is the new terminal building of Cuddapah Airport. Where today the normal building of Kapda Airport is visible, soon a new terminal building looking like a fort will be seen. According to a senior AAI official, the concept of Kadapa Airport in Andhra Pradesh has been taken from the Gandikota Fort which has historical importance.

5 four minarets will be seen in the new terminal building
According to a senior AAI official, the front part of Kadapa Airport is being prepared on the lines of the four minarets present at Gandikota Fort. In the next part of the terminal, some five huge towers looking like four minarets will be built. The same red sand stone will be used in these five four minarets, which was used to build the original four minarets in 1123 AD. Apart from this, the parapets and lattices in the minarets will also be made exactly like the existing four minarets.

This terminal building will be built with special red stones
According to a senior AAI official, the new terminal building of Kadapa Airport will look like the famous historical monument Gandikota Fort. The new terminal is being constructed exclusively from red sand stone. Features like arches, cornices, lattices and parapets present in Gandikota Fort have been incorporated in the new terminal. He said that passengers will get to see a wonderful confluence of traditional and modern architecture in these terminal buildings. Apart from this, the new terminal also has a glimpse of local art, culture and historical heritage.
