New Delhi: The first day of the Parliament session was quite tumultuous in the beginning. The opposition said that the appointment of Bhartruhari Mahtab as the Protem Speaker was against tradition. However, the protest did not have any effect inside the House and all the newly elected MPs took oath as Lok Sabha members. During this, one special thing caught everyone’s attention and that was the register. All the MPs signed this register after taking the oath. ➤Name of the Member – The name of the Lok Sabha member is written in this register.
➤Name of the elected State or Lok Sabha constituency (Constituency/State) – This column in the register means the Lok Sabha constituency or state from which the MP has been elected.
➤Signature- After filling both the columns above, the MPs have to put their signature at the end.
