Is there a rule in IPL? Who questioned Rohit in India-Sri Lanka ODI

New Delhi. The 3 match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka has started. Both the teams are facing each other at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first. India spoiled Sri Lanka’s start. By the time the score reached 100 runs, half of the host team had returned to the pavilion. There came a time in this match when the IPL rules started being mentioned. Wicketkeeper KL Rahul, who was included in the playing eleven in place of Rishabh Pant, started asking captain Rohit Sharma what is the IPL rule? After this, the commentators were also forced to laugh.

Actually, Shivam Dubey bowled the 14th over of the Sri Lankan innings from India. Shivam Dubey sent Kusal Mendis to the pavilion on the very first ball of this over. On the fourth ball, he/she appealed against Pathum Nissanka. Shivam felt that the ball had made contact with the bat but the ball hit the thigh pad and reached the hands of wicketkeeper KL Rahul. There was a sound after the ball hit the thigh pad but the umpire did not give any indication. Bowler Shivam Dubey felt that the ball and the bat had made contact but KL Rahul behind the wicket knew very well that the ball had reached his/her glove after hitting the thigh pad. After this, captain Rohit Sharma came close to wicketkeeper KL and Shivam Dubey and some conversation started between the three. During that time Rahul asked the captain what is the IPL rule?
