UPSC Prelims Exam 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the prelims exam of the Civil Services Examination on June 16 this year. According to reports, more than 13 lakh candidates appeared in this exam. UPSC Prelims Question Paper 2024: The pattern of questions may change

This year’s UPSC prelims exam has given big hints about the changes in the exam pattern of the coming years. If we look at the year 2023 preliminary exam, many questions of two new types were asked in it. In which there were many questions of statement relation and correct in correct type. ISS expert Gaurav Kaushal says that UPSC had already given the hint of these questions in the previous years’ exam.

How Many Above type questions were asked for the first time in the prelims of the year 2022. Apart from this, a question related to the relation of two statements was asked in the year 2021. After this, this question was not asked in 2022. In such a situation, the candidates had to prepare for these questions and know that UPSC can ask questions about them.

UPSC Civil Service Exam Pattern: Two new types of questions

This year, UPSC has asked two new types of questions in the Prelims 2024 Question Paper. One of these was the relation between three statements and the other was matching. In which matching has to be done in three columns. Regarding these two new questions, assume that UPSC can ask many such questions in the coming years. In such a situation, it is important that all the candidates who are currently preparing for UPSC should study keeping these questions in mind.

UPSC IAS Exam: Preparation for Mains after Prelims

Let us tell you that to crack the UPSC CSE Exam, candidates have to go through three stages. Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam are shortlisted for the main exam. After the mains, candidates are called for interview. After these three stages, UPSC releases the final list of selected candidates. This year the prelims exam has been completed, after which the candidates have started preparing for the mains.
