Is Rohit Sharma satisfied after winning the World Cup, the bat is silent, the captaincy is weak?

New Delhi. In the last few months, the Indian cricket team got to experience something which had not happened before in decades. Team India lost in the ODI series in Sri Lanka after 27 years. The fans had just recovered from this when New Zealand defeated India for the first time in a Test series at home. No one had thought that such a sudden downfall would be seen in captain Rohit Sharma’s graph. It is surprising to see such a stain on a captain who is coming after winning the T20 World Cup. Is it possible that the Hitmen are now satisfied after winning the ICC Trophy and the rest of the wins and losses are not making any difference?

Rohit Sharma got the one thing he/she waited for so many years in June. As a player, he/she had won the ICC Trophy in 2007, but as a captain, his/her dream of becoming world champion was fulfilled in 2024. After this victory, his/her game has declined and the sharpness in his/her captaincy is also not visible. In the recent Test series, India’s batting order sank, which is commanded by Rohit himself. While starting the innings, he/she could not lay the foundation of victory for the team. he/she has disappointed in both batting and captaincy.

Commentary panel also surprised by Rohit’s captaincy
The veterans included in the commentary panel raised questions on the approach of Indian team captain Rohit Sharma against New Zealand. Sunil Gavaskar, Anil Kumble, Saba Karim found some of his/her decisions strange. Gavaskar questioned New Zealand on leaving the field open in the initial overs and giving them free rein to score runs. he/she said that when you have less runs then you do not leave the field open. Such captaincy of Rohit Sharma is beyond comprehension.

change in batting order was possible
If Rohit Sharma had talked to coach Gautam Gambhir in the second test match and sent Sarfaraz Khan higher in the batting order, the result could have changed. After scoring 150 runs in good form, he/she could have been sent to the higher order. The Indian team had made a good start in the second innings in the Pune Test but suddenly the batting order collapsed. If he/she had given the message of stopping instead of hitting, the batting could have continued for a long time.

own bat became silent
Before winning the ICC T20 World Cup, Rohit Sharma had scored a century in the Test against England. Since then he/she has reached double figures in only two innings. he/she scored 52 runs against New Zealand in Bengaluru but this will not affect the figures. he/she has been out for less than 10 runs in 6 out of the last 8 innings. If a captain who opens is out and returns in single digits, what effect will it have on the team?
