FFI President said- Makers gave wrong information

According to FFI, the news of ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ being sent to the Oscars is fake. Only ‘Laapta Ladies’ has been officially sent from India for the Oscars. According to ‘Hindustan Times’, FFI President Ravi Kotakara said about this, ‘They (makers of Swatantra Veer Savarkar) have given wrong information. I will issue a statement on this soon. Only ‘Laapta Ladies’ has been sent to the Oscars from India.’

It is known that on Tuesday, 24 September, the makers of ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ posted that the film is going to the Oscars. They also thanked FFI for this. This post made many people think that not ‘Missing Ladies’ but ‘Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ is India’s official entry to the Oscars. But this is not so.

Meanwhile, ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ co-producer Ashok Pandit said that the film was submitted for the Oscars by FFI. However, he/she does not know when the film was submitted. But he/she is happy that the film is going to the Oscars.
