Dr. Ranjana Sharma, Senior Consultant of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, says that the problem of nose blockage or bleeding from the nose is very common. 6 out of 10 women start facing this problem in the third or fourth month of pregnancy, which continues till delivery. – Applying a little water or petroleum jelly on the outside of the nose also provides a lot of relief.

– If you are feeling unconscious, lie down on your side, avoid going to hot places and keep the environment around you cool.

Let us tell you that sometimes during pregnancy the amount of blood in our body increases up to 50 percent. Due to which the blood vessels of the nose expand and break and bleeding starts. This is also called pregnancy rhinitis. This problem is not serious, but if it happens too much, then it should not be ignored.
