New Delhi : Even after the defeat of Congress in Haryana elections, BJP is continuously attacking it. A fact finding committee was formed by the Congress in the review meeting of the defeat. Now BJP has rubbed salt on the wounds of Congress regarding this committee. BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala says that the objective of the committee is not to find the reasons for the defeat, but to ‘save’ Rahul Gandhi and hold someone else responsible for the defeat.

Poonawala said that this is less a fact finding committee and more a Rahul Gandhi Bachao Committee. The purpose of the committee is only to blame someone else for the defeat. Apart from this, Poonawala said that Rahul Gandhi has lost 73 to 74 elections including three Lok Sabha elections.

In the 90-member Haryana Assembly, Congress won 37 seats while BJP won 48 seats. BJP is going to form government in the state for the third consecutive time.
