New Delhi. Australia’s 19-year-old Sam Costans made his/her debut against the Indian team in the fourth test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. During this match, he/she troubled the Indian bowlers a lot by batting explosively. On the first day of the Boxing Day Test, Virat Kohli did such an act with this young batsman which surprised all the Indian greats. Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan and former opener Sunil Gavaskar reprimanded him/her for this.

In the first day’s play of the Boxing Day Test match, Australia scored 311 runs for 6 wickets. The top four batsmen scored fifties, including Test debutant Sam Costance. This young man defeated the Indian bowlers in the first hour of play itself. Even a big hit like Jasprit Bumrah was hit fours and sixes. During the match, Virat Kohli got into a tussle with this 19 year old youth. After the end of the day’s play, the match referee fined him/her 20 percent of the match fee for this.
