Iran fired more than 180 ballistic missiles at Israel; Khamenei declared ‘God’s victory’, Israel warned of serious consequences




Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei posted an illustration of a large underground weapons stockpile on his/her social media ‘X’ profile after it fired more than 180 ballistic missiles at Israel on Wednesday.

Khamenei captioned the post, “Victory from God and near victory…”

In another post he/she said, “The resistance front’s attacks on the dilapidated body of the Zionist regime will be even more effective.”

Israeli Ambassador to India Reuven Azar said that Israel is being attacked by Iran.

“Israel is under attack from Iran,” he/she said in a post on X. Israel will prevail. “Iran’s fanatically genocidal religious leaders have made a fatal mistake.”

Speaking about Iran’s large-scale attack, Israel Defense Forces spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said the Iranian attack is a serious and dangerous escalation. There will be consequences.

“Iran launched a massive attack of more than 180 ballistic missiles directly at the State of Israel from Iranian soil. A small number of hits occurred in the center of Israel and a few others in southern Israel. Most of the incoming missiles were intercepted by a defensive coalition led by Israel and the United States. Iran’s attack is a serious and dangerous escalation. There will be consequences,” he/she said.

Hagari said that they will respond to the attack whenever and however they want.

“Our defensive and offensive capabilities are at the highest level of readiness. Our operational plans are ready. We will respond wherever, whenever and however we choose, as directed by the Government of Israel. Iran and its proxies have been attacking Israel on seven fronts since October 7. Iran and its supporters want to destroy Israel. The Israel Defense Forces will continue to do everything possible to defend the State of Israel and protect the people of Israel,” he/she said.
