IPL: The player retained by Punjab Kings said- Now I will show that…

New DelhiPunjab Kings have retained two players in the team for the next IPL season and one of them is Shashank Singh. Shashank said that he/she will prove to the team owners that their decision was right by showing a great game in 2025. Last season, Shashank performed brilliantly as an excellent ‘finisher’ for Punjab Kings. he/she scored 354 runs at a strike rate of 164.65 and was the team’s top run scorer. Shashank is an ‘uncapped’ player.

After Punjab Kings announced the retention of players in the team, Shashank said, “I am grateful to the franchise because they have given me another chance and have shown faith in me. I will always be grateful for the opportunity he/she has given me. Now my job is to prove them right.”

IND vs PAK: India lost under the captaincy of Robin Uthappa, Pakistan won the match without losing any wicket.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction, Punjab Kings bought ‘uncapped’ Shashank for his/her ‘base price’ of Rs 20 lakh. But then claimed it was a mistake. The team later clarified that the confusion arose because there was another player with the same name in the auction list.

This cricketer from Chhattisgarh again presented an example of his/her ability by scoring unbeaten 61 runs in just 29 balls against the strong bowling attack of Gujarat Titans. he/she said, “As a cricketer you have to give your 100 percent, only then you are in the team. The way Punjab Kings and fans have shown confidence in me, it is my responsibility to double my performance so that we can be in the race for the championship title. ,
