IPL final: The luck connection behind KKR’s victory, who did Shreyas Iyer give the credit to, why did he/she thank SRH!

Chennai. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered a record-breaking win in the IPL final. It restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to the lowest score of 113 runs in IPL history. After this, it won the match in the 11th over itself. In this way, KKR made the IPL final one-sided. KKR captain Shreyas Iyer praised his/her players a lot for this victory but also cited luck. Iyer said that he/she was lucky that he/she got the chance to bowl first.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss in the final against Kolkata Knight Riders and decided to bat first, which backfired on them. KKR won the match by 8 wickets in just 10.3 overs. After the victory, captain Shreyas Iyer said, ‘It is difficult to express the feelings. The players performed exactly as we expected from them. Today we were lucky that we got the opportunity to bowl first.’

Iyer said, ‘Congratulations to Sunrisers Hyderabad for playing a great game. It was a pressure match. Earlier, it has also been the champion in 2012 and 2014.

Praising Andre Russell, Shreyas said, ‘Russell has a magic wand. he/she took wickets in most of the matches.’ Iyer also praised Venkatesh Iyer for his/her excellent innings in the final. Shreyas said, ‘Venkatesh made the victory easy for us. It was a united effort. It was a great season for us.’
