IPL Final KKR vs SRH: The one who had snatched the World Cup from India, had scored a century in the final, KKR did not even let him/her open his/her account.

New Delhi. Pat Cummins’ biggest weapon got wasted in the IPL final. The same weapon, thanks to which Cummins defeated India and won the World Cup 2023 title. The same batsman, who has the fastest century of IPL 2024, was not even allowed by KKR to open his/her account in the final. We are talking about Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Travis Head. Who became the victim of a golden duck in the IPL final.

The final of IPL 2024 was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday. Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bat first in this match. They might have expected a stormy start from openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, which this pair gave in most of the match. But both the batsmen disappointed in the final.

KKR’s most expensive bowler Mitchell Starc dismissed Abhishek Sharma (2) in the first over. But Vaibhav Arora gave an even bigger blow to SRH in the second over. This Indian bowler showed the way to the pavilion to Travis Head in his/her very first over. Travis Head walked away after playing just one ball. This was the third time in the last 4 matches, when Travis Head could not open the account.

KKR fans went wild as soon as Travis Head was out. And why should this happen? This is the same Travis Head, who played an inning of 137 runs against India in the World Cup final on 19 November last year. Thanks to this century of Head, Australia defeated India and won the World Cup.

Travis Head also made a great start in IPL 2024. But as the title match came closer, his/her form continued to wane. The fastest century of IPL is also in the name of Travis Head. he/she scored a century in just 39 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
