IPL 2025 Auction: Ricky Ponting angry at BCCI, expressed his/her displeasure, said- I did not know that…

New Delhi. Ricky Ponting has criticized BCCI for scheduling the IPL 2025 auction. Because former Australian captain and Justin Langer will have to leave the first test match between India vs Australia midway. Both of them were part of the channel commentary team. But keeping the franchise in mind, he/she will have to take part in the IPL auction.

Ricky Ponting said, “This is the worst situation for me and Justin Langer. We were feeling for the last few months that this was probably going to happen in between the Test matches. What happens with this is that all the pressure is removed from the players of both the teams, many players of both the teams are included in the auction. But I don’t know whether the dates chosen by BCCI may have anything to do with the Test match.

T20I Ranking: Till yesterday, he/she was not even in the top 50, now the Indian cricketer has reached the third position, beating all the Indians.

Ponting further said, “I will do commentary on the first day and then fly to Jeddah late on Friday night. The auction is on 24th and 25th and then we will have to see our schedule accordingly. Hopefully I will be back by the end of the Perth Test match and if not then I will be back by the time the Test match starts in Adelaide.”

Let us tell you that Ponting was recently appointed the head coach of Punjab Kings, while Langer will coach Lucknow Super Giants. Ponting left Delhi Capitals this year. The performance of Delhi Capitals was not anything special under his/her coaching. The team could not reach the finals even once.
