IPL 2025 Auction: Highest bid will be made on wicketkeeper, up to Rs 28 crore… Rishabh Pant and Ishaan are everyone’s target.

New Delhi. Who will get the biggest bid this time in IPL Auction 2025? The answer to this question is going to be known within a few days. If former cricketers Aakash Chopra and Robin Uthappa are to be believed, this time the record of the most expensive player of IPL may be broken. This record will be broken by no one else but India’s wicketkeeper. The previous record was in the name of Mitchell Starc of Australia. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) had bid Rs 24.75 crore on Mitchell Starc for IPL 2024.

The auction for IPL 2025 is to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 24 and 25 November. This is only the second time that the IPL auction will be held abroad. According to Aakash Chopra, most of the money is going to be spent on wicketkeepers in the IPL auction. he/she said in a program of Jio Cinema, ‘There is no doubt that this time the biggest bids will be placed on the wicketkeepers. The biggest bid in IPL history is going to be made on Rishabh Pant.

On this question, Aakash Chopra said that Gujarat Titans can also bet on Pant.

A bid of Rs 18 crore may be made on Ishaan
Aakash Chopra said that Ishan Kishan could be the second most expensive wicketkeeper. Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans need wicketkeeper batsmen. Therefore, a bid of up to Rs 18 crore can be made for Ishan Kishan. Apart from Pant, Aakash Chopra’s top-5 wicketkeepers include Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul, Phil Salt and Jos Buttler.

Ishaan is not in Uthappa’s top-5
Ishan Kishan’s name was not among the wicketkeepers whom Robin Uthappa included in his/her top-5. he/she said that if bidding is done on his/her form, it will not be very big. If there is bidding on his/her talent then it will be a big bid. Apart from Pant, Uthappa’s top-5 includes KL Rahul, Jos Buttler, Quindon de Kock and Phil Salt. Robbie said that there will be a big bid for Jos Buttler. KKR can make a big bid on Butler because he/she also has captaincy experience.
