Priyanka Gandhi has registered a big victory on Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, what would you say.
I am very happy that the people of Wayanad decided to make Priyanka Gandhi win and it was fulfilled. I want to say that Priyanka Gandhi has worked hard in the entire country. BJP also made many allegations against him/her. But she remained strong. The public has seen all this and has achieved a big victory in Wayanad.
Priyanka Gandhi had said during nomination for Wayanad Lok Sabha seat that this election is being fought by the public.
I have experience of living among people. I have seen that the people of Wayanad have immense love for Priyanka. The people here have understood his/her hard work. After the counting of votes is completed, I am confident that Priyanka will achieve a historic victory. Priyanka Gandhi will find solutions to the problems of the people of Wayanad and raise their issues in Parliament.
Priyanka Gandhi is compared to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Priyanka Gandhi has learned a lot from her grandmother. he/she has also learned from his/her mother Sonia Gandhi, brother Rahul Gandhi. Although she looks like Indira Gandhi. But, the politics of that time was different. Today’s politics is different. Priyanka is very hardworking and fearless. She tries to solve people’s problems by working hard.
Congress’s performance in Maharashtra was not good, what could be the reason?
I won’t be able to say much about this. But I think we should respect the decision taken by the public. Congress leaders at the ground level will have to understand what the public’s expectations were and what did not happen, due to which such a result occurred. Everyone in Haryana felt that the results would be in favor of Congress. But, the decision was not in favor of Congress, which was quite surprising. People are also surprised about the results of Maharashtra.
Rahul Gandhi was angry over ticket distribution in Maharashtra. If Rahul had listened to Gandhi, the results could have been different.
That is absolutely correct. The results could have been different. Rahul Gandhi always thinks about the state and its people. his/her thinking was that there was wrong distribution of tickets in the assembly elections. Those who were given the task of distributing tickets need to pay attention. Whatever results have come, there will be discussion at the party level about how to strengthen the Congress in Maharashtra.
Priyanka Gandhi is reaching Parliament, when are you coming.
Now is Priyanka Gandhi’s time. She will go to Parliament. Right now we are focused on how she will present the issues and problems of the people of Wayanad. According to the family and if the public wants, I will enter active politics.
What advice would you give to Congress in the Delhi Assembly elections? If you get the responsibility, will you live up to it?
Congress workers need to go among the people, understand the issues of the people, only then we can find solutions to them. Wherever the party needs me, whatever work is given to me, I will complete it well.
Three members of the Gandhi family will now be in Parliament. Will the situation change?
The situation will definitely change. People demanded that Priyanka Gandhi should present the problems of the people in the Parliament. Priyanka will work to table the issues which BJP will not raise. Priyanka will look eye to eye with the leaders in the House and present the problems of the people. Priyanka’s presence will strengthen Rahul Gandhi and the entire Congress party.
