India’s real GDP Q3 increased by 6.2% in 2024-25, which is more than 5.6% in the previous quarter




The Indian economy really increased by 6.2 percent in the Indian economy in the October-December quarter of the current financial year 2024-25, the official data of the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation was shown on Friday.

October-December growth is more than the July-September quarter. In July-September, GDP increased by 5.6 percent.

The quarter increase of October-December, however, was less than RBI’s 6.8 percent forecast.

The GDP numbers in April-June and July-September also increased at a slow pace compared to estimated by the central bank. Weak GDP numbers can be obtained from consumption in the economy and the latest stock market performance.

RBI has estimated the actual GDP growth for 2024-25. In the January-March quarter, GDP is expected to increase by 7.2 percent, the RBI estimated the December monetary policy.

According to estimates of statistics and program implementation, the Indian economy, really, is expected to increase by 6.5 percent in 2024–25 in 2024–25 in 2024–24. This is 10 basis points lower than RBI estimates.

The growth rate of nominal GDP in 2024-25 is expected to increase by 9.7 percent in 2023-24.

In 2025–26, the Indian economy is estimated to increase between 6.3 percent and 6.8 percent, as mentioned in the Economic Survey presented on 31 January.

India’s GDP increased by 8.2 percent during the financial year 2023-24 and remained the fastest growing major economy. The economy increased by 7.2 percent in 2022-23 and 8.7 percent in 2021-22.

This afternoon, the World Bank said that India would need to increase an average of 7.8 percent in the next 22 years to achieve the aspirations of the country to become a developed country by 2047.

The World Bank said in a statement today that reforms to reach there and their implementation should be as ambitious as the target would be as ambitious.
