India’s next match with Pakistan in T20 World Cup, if it loses, it will become difficult.

Dubai. The Indian team did not have a good start in the ICC T20 World Cup. There was a crushing defeat from New Zealand in the first match. Now he/she has to play his/her second match against Pakistan on Sunday. Harmanpreet Kaur’s team has been placed in Group A of this World Cup along with New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Australia and Pakistan. After losing the first match, it is necessary for India to win the next match. Pakistan team had defeated Sri Lanka in a thrilling match.

The Indian team had to face defeat by 58 runs against New Zealand in its first match on Friday. his/her hopes of making it to the semi-finals have suffered a severe blow and this has made all the further matches very important for him/her. India’s net run rate is not good and now it will have to win the matches against Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Australia at any cost.

The Indian team led by Harmanpreet Kaur performed poorly in all three departments of the game against New Zealand. he/she doesn’t have time now and he/she has to overcome his/her weaknesses as soon as possible. This task is not so easy because now they face Pakistan who had defeated Sri Lanka in the first match.

India will have to improve its team combination before the match against Pakistan. Against New Zealand, India had to change its batting order to include an additional fast bowler in the form of Arundhati Reddy. Because of this, Harmanpreet had to bat at number three, Jemimah Rodrigues at number four and Richa Ghosh at number five, whereas usually they do not bat at these positions. India’s decision to play with three fast bowlers did not prove correct as there was no moisture in the pitch and New Zealand’s batsmen faced them easily. Due to this, India was not able to make full use of its fast bowlers, an example of which is Pooja Vastrakar who bowled only one over.

Due to playing with three fast bowlers, India had to drop left-arm spinner Radha Yadav and she was sorely missed during the match. The performance of Indian batsmen was not good. The highest score from his/her side was 15 runs which was made by Harmanpreet. India can now include Dayalan Hemlata in the playing eleven to strengthen its batting.

India has an excellent record against Pakistan. Out of the 15 T20 International matches played between these two teams, India has won 12 matches. However, India cannot make the mistake of taking its opponent lightly whose bowling attack is very strong. Pakistan has good bowlers like experienced Nida Dar, captain Fatima Sana and Sadia Iqbal.
