Indian batsmen could stay on the field for only an hour on the second day, Bangladesh took 4 wickets for the last 33 runs


New Delhi. Bangladesh has bowled out India for 376 runs in the first Test match. India’s innings ended in the first session on the second day of the match. India had scored 339 runs for the loss of 6 wickets on the first day of the match. On the second day, India lost its remaining wickets after adding 37 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin played an innings of 113 runs for India. Hasan Mahmud took five wickets for Bangladesh.

The first test match of the two-match series between India and Bangladesh is being played in Chennai. Bangladesh won the toss on the first day of the match and chose to field first. They started as per their wish and took 3 wickets of India for 34 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant did manage the innings but could not raise hopes of a big score.

At one point, India’s score was 144 runs for 6 wickets. From here, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja made a record partnership of 199 runs and put India in a strong position. When the day’s play stopped, India’s score was 339 runs for 3 wickets. Indian fans would be hoping on the second day that Ashwin-Jadeja and the rest of the batsmen together would definitely take the team to 400 runs. But this did not happen.

On the second day of the match, in the third over itself, Bangladesh gave India the seventh blow by dismissing Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja’s wicket fell at the score of 343. The rest of India’s batsmen also did not last long and the team was all out at 376 runs. Bangladesh took the last 4 wickets by giving 33 runs. The Indian team lost the 7th wicket in the form of Jadeja in the 83rd over and was all out in 92 overs.
