Indian Army’s UAV reached POK, India asked to return it, know the whole matter


New Delhi: A tactical UAV of the Indian Army went into Pakistan occupied Kashmir and the Pakistani Army recovered it. After which the Indian Army sent a message to the Pakistani Army on the hot line and asked them to return the UAV. The Indian Army said that on Friday morning at 9:25 am, a mini UAV which was in the Indian territory developed a technical fault. It went to the Nakiyal sector of PoK opposite the Bimbar Gali area in Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The UAV was on a training mission

The Indian Army said that this UAV was on a training mission. The Army said that there are reports that the Pakistani Army has recovered it. The Indian Army said that a message has been sent to the Pakistani Army on the hotline to return the UAV. According to sources, this UAV was Idea Forge’s SWITCH UAV. These are fixed wing drones and are effective at high altitude.

UAV flight time 60 minutes

According to sources, it was purchased under emergency procurement. The flight time of this UAV is 60 minutes and its weight is around 7 kg. This UAV is equipped with HD video resolution camera and it can work during day and night as well as in darkness.

Pakistani Army recovered UAV

The Indian Army uses different types of UAVs for surveillance around the Line of Control. For some time now, the Army has increased its focus on UAVs. The Indian Army is using everything from surveillance to logistics drones.
