Indian Army did independent patrolling on LAC in Depsang, know the whole matter

New Delhi: Eastern Ladakh For the first time, an official post has been made on social media by the Indian Army regarding the disengagement between the Indian and Chinese armies in Depsang and Demchok on the LAC. The 14th Corps of the Army posted an ex-post saying that the Indian Army patrolled a patrolling point in Depsang on Monday. A file photo has been attached with it.

After the first patrolling, now independent patrolling took place

According to sources, the first patrolling in Demchok and Depsang was done on Thursday last week. Final verification of disengagement was also done through this patrolling. In Thursday’s patrolling also, Indian soldiers went to the same distance as they did in Monday’s patrolling. In the first patrolling, there were Chinese soldiers along with Indian soldiers.

In this way, Chinese soldiers also did the final verification. After which, on Friday last week, the Indian Army conducted independent patrolling in Demchok. On Monday i.e. on 4th November, Indian soldiers conducted independent patrolling at a point in Depsang. Indian soldiers did their first patrolling at this point on Thursday.

10 to 15 soldiers in patrolling

According to sources, the number of soldiers in this patrolling was between 10 to 15. Sources said that in the agreement made between the Indian and Chinese armies, there is no condition as to who will patrol how many times and how many soldiers will be there in patrolling. But it has been agreed that the number of soldiers should not be too high.

Must be informed at least a day in advance

According to sources, it has been decided that at least a day before going on patrolling, the soldiers of India and China will inform each other about which area at what time they are going for patrolling. The Indian Army had informed the Chinese Army even before this patrolling.

Chinese soldiers have done independent patrolling only in Demchok.

According to sources, nothing has been told from China regarding patrolling in Depsang as to when they will patrol. Chinese soldiers have also done independent patrolling at a point in Demchok. Only after Chinese soldiers patrol one point of Depsang, Indian soldiers will go to the other point for patrolling. There are a total of 5 points in Depsang and two points in Demchok. When Indian soldiers and Chinese soldiers will do independent patrolling at all these points, then either of them will be able to patrol as per their wish by informing the other a day in advance.
