India will compete with AI race Modi government launched Critical Mineral Mission


New Delhi: China’s startup companies are rocking the world of Artificial Intelligence. The arrival of DeepC I created panic in the world. Meanwhile, India has also geared up. India has started the ‘National Critical Mineral Mission’. Under this mission, Rs 34,300 crore (about 4 billion dollars) will be spent in the next six years. This will ensure supply of essential natural resources. These resources are very important for semiconductor and state -of -the -art technology.

Emphasis on preparing world class structure

This mission will create a strong structure to increase the availability of critical minerals that can compete worldwide. For this, mining will be done rapidly so that production in the country increases. 50 mines abroad will be purchased by 2030-31. Facilities will be made for processing and recycling. This information was given by Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav after the cabinet approval.

Necessary to make semiconductor and high -tech things

Critical minerals and rare earth elements (ree) are very important to make semiconductor and make hi -tech things. China has 70-80% control of these resources, which benefits it. Lithium, neobium and REE are very important. They are used in mobile, electric vehicles, medical equipment, defense and space technology.

Mission to buy mine abroad

Vaishnav said that the government and its agencies will pay Rs 16,300 crore. Government companies like Kabil will invest 18 thousand crores. Kabil is a group of government mining companies that buy mines abroad. This mission will help Kabil to buy stake in mines in Australia, Chile and Argentina.

Private companies and startups will also play a big role in this mission. Especially in search and technological development. This will also create new employment opportunities in the country. This mission is a big step towards making India self -sufficient in the field of technology. With this, India will be able to make its place in the big technology countries of the world.
