India warned China on CPEC, strongly objected to the mention of Jammu and Kashmir

Special Correspondent, New Delhi: India has strongly objected to the mention of Jammu and Kashmir in the joint statement issued by China and Pakistan. India has termed such details as baseless and unnecessary. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal issued a note on Thursday saying, we have seen the mention of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the joint statement issued on June 17, 2024. We reject any such unnecessary mention.

‘Ladakh along with Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India’

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that India’s stand has been consistent with everyone. Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh are and will remain an integral part of India. India said in clear and strong words that no other country has the right to be a party in this matter. The Foreign Ministry also said that this joint statement also talks about projects and activities under the so-called China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). While some of these projects are on India’s sovereign land, which is forcibly and illegally occupied by Pakistan.

China and Pakistan came together on the Kashmir issue, spewed venom against India, what did they say?

India gave a befitting reply to China

The Ministry of External Affairs said clearly that India opposes such actions and activities by other countries through which an attempt is made to recognise Pakistan’s illegal occupation. This affects India’s territorial sovereignty and integrity.
