India increased talks with Taliban

In the last one year, India has increased talks with Taliban, which is not going down well with Pakistan. India has also allowed its representative to work from the Afghan Consulate in Mumbai. Kabul has assured India that it will not allow its soil to be used for anti-India activities.

Kabul also showed interest in increasing partnership with Delhi

Kabul has also shown interest in expanding humanitarian and development partnerships with New Delhi. The assurance was given when a senior Foreign Ministry official met Taliban’s acting Defense Minister Mohammad Yacob Mujahid in Kabul in November. Mujahid is the son of Mullah Omar, who was the leader of Afghanistan between 1996-2001. Sources said that at present there is stability in Afghanistan under Taliban rule. However, women’s rights and education still remain a matter of concern.

Pakistan carried out air strikes on Afghanistan

Let us tell you that Pakistan carried out air strikes in eastern Afghanistan. 46 people were killed in these attacks. Most women and children were killed. These attacks took place on Wednesday. Pakistan says that these attacks were against terrorists. Afghanistan has strongly condemned this attack. Hamdullah Firat, deputy spokesman of the Taliban government, said that Pakistan launched attacks at four places in Barmal district of Paktika province. Those killed were refugees. Six people have also been injured.
