India is strict regarding the attack on Hindus in Canada, told Trudeau government to take action

New Delhi: The Indian government has expressed concern over the violence that took place in the temple in Brampton, Canada. The Center has asked the Justin Trudeau government of Canada to ensure the safety of Indian citizens. Along with this, the Foreign Ministry has also demanded from the Canadian government to take action against the culprits. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that the central government is extremely concerned about the safety of Indian citizens in Canada. We are calling on the Government of Canada to ensure that all places of worship are protected from such attacks.

Canadian PM also condemned the attack

The whole matter happened on Sunday, when the demonstration of Khalistani extremists near the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton took a violent turn. They attacked the people coming to the temple. Many leaders including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau strongly condemned the violence in the temple. Trudeau said the violence at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton is unacceptable. Every Canadian has the right to freedom and protection of his/her or her belief. he/she also thanked the police, who responded immediately and ensured the safety of the community.
