‘India is still secular because Hindus are in majority’ – Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath

CM Yogi Adityanath on Hindus: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once again talked about the condition of Hindus and minorities in the country. He believes that if there is any country in the world where minorities are most secure, then it is India. He has said in an interview to a news channel that India is the most secular in today’s date.

CM Yogi said in an interview to India TV, ‘We should not forget that India is secular today because it is a Hindu majority. Here everyone’s protection is guaranteed… (Hindu) Vasudhaiva believes in the message of Kutumbakam and makes it a part of his life.

In the interview, the Chief Minister also talked about the condition of minorities in Pakistan and Afghanistan. He gave examples of how religious places of minority communities are being targeted in many countries. CM Yogi said, ‘You see what is happening inside Pakistan… what is happening inside Afghanistan, what is being done in other countries of the world that with any other religion’.

The Chief Minister said that when there are many countries in the world where their (minority) religious places are being demolished, no one is speaking there. The example is in front of everyone.. So why do people talk like this, will you punish this country for generosity?

Yogi’s comment on illegal conversion

Let us tell you that on January 30, Yogi Adityanath had said that people engaged in illegal conversions in the country will never succeed in their plans. He said that all the people participating in ‘Banjara Kumbh’ should follow ‘Sanatan Dharma’ and beware of those who tell them that they are not a part of this great religion.

Emphasizing that people should feel proud of Sanatan Dharma, the Chief Minister said that it is the oldest religion of the world, which paves the way for the welfare of humanity in a big way.
