India is seeing new tension in the Israel-Iran war! This important work will have to be done in missile defense system

New Delhi: Iran’s recent missile attacks on Israel have also forced India to think about how to strengthen its missile defense system. This attack has shown that even weak countries can harm powerful countries with cheap missiles. In such a situation, India should work on developing low-cost interceptor missiles. India has invested in BMD systems for its security, but experts believe that these systems are not sufficient to avoid a major attack. Therefore India needs modern interceptor missiles. One suggestion is that India could install interceptor missiles on existing intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs). With this, India will be able to target those missiles which are moving towards important cities or military bases of the country. This will allow India to save its limited interceptor missiles for bigger threats.

Ballistic missiles of Pakistan and China pose challenges

The ballistic missile capabilities of Pakistan and China are also a major challenge for India. Both countries have built a large stockpile of short-range missiles. The proximity of their borders to major cities of India increases the risk of attack. To deal with these threats, India should invest in a multi-layered missile defense system. Which includes BMD systems, interceptor missiles and early warning systems. India can enhance its security by developing low-cost interceptor missiles.

Iran’s attacks on Israel are a warning to India. These incidents show how much damage even weak missiles can cause to weak countries. India urgently needs to strengthen its missile defense capabilities. Developing low-cost interceptor missiles will be an important step in this direction. India needs a strong missile defense system for its security.
