New Delhi. India, the current champion of the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup, has started the tournament with a bang. In the first match, India defeated the West Indies team by 9 wickets in a one-sided match. On the basis of the lethal bowling of Parunika Sisodia, India defeated West Indies on the score of just 44 runs. After this, Atishi won the match by achieving the target in 26 balls while batting.

India performed brilliantly in the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup and defeated West Indies in the first match. Indian captain Nikki Prasad won the toss in this match and decided to bowl first. The bowlers proved the captain’s decision right and took wickets in succession and wrapped up West Indies’ innings in just 14 overs. 9 out of 11 players who came to bat could not even reach double figures. Parunika Sisodia bowled brilliantly for India and took maximum 3 wickets. Apart from this, Ayushi and Jositha took 2 wickets each.
