India defeated Pakistan to win the World Champions of Legends title

New Delhi. The Yuvraj Singh-led Indian Champions team has won the World Championship of Legends trophy by defeating Pakistan Champions. Chasing the target of 157 runs set by Pakistan, India won the final by scoring 159 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 19.1 overs. Opener Ambati Rayudu and Yusuf Pathan, who recently became an MP from TMC, played an important role in the victory of Indian Champions by playing explosive innings. The final was played in Birmingham. Players who had retired from international cricket were playing in this league.

Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu gave a good start to the India Champions team chasing the target. Both of them shared a 34-run partnership for the first wicket. Uthappa scored 10 runs. After Uthappa was out, India soon lost its second wicket in the form of Suresh Raina. Raina was out after scoring 4 runs. When Raina was out, India’s score was 38 runs. Yusuf Pathan was out after scoring 30 runs in 16 balls, while captain Yuvraj Singh played an unbeaten innings of 15 runs. Aamir Yamin took the maximum of 2 wickets from Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan Champions, captained by Younis Khan, scored 156 runs for 6 wickets.
